About the workshop
The artist will demonstrate basic stitches on a piece of felt, and show examples of work that have been made for various purposes. Participants will learn about using felt and threads to create their own piece as a gift or a gentle protest. Issues like fast fashion, cheap or forced labour, environmental matters will be highlighted. We don't have to shout out loudly to change the world, a gentle way of crafty activities can do the trick too.
Come and enjoy a relaxing crafternoon with like minded people in a significant cultural environment 😊
