Neon Lights
“Neon Lights” is a community project run by several Hongkongers in Manchester UK, and a music group formed in February last year (2022). Instead of aiming to be commercial, we are happy to play for the community. We aims to build and strengthen community spirit with music and other cultural activities.
Although Hong Kong’s iconic neon signs is fading away, it has become an art form, and keeps shining in this fast changing world. Although neon lights is not bright as other alternatives, it is a very strong part of our local culture that we want to preserve.
We wish we can act like neon lights. Even with the faintest light, we can still shine in the darkness. We sincerely welcome all kinds of volunteers and talented musicians to join our activities in coming future, to shine brightly together.
